Texas Garden Clubs 84th Spring Convention

The Grapevine Garden Club is honored to host the Texas Garden Clubs 84th Spring Convention, March 22nd, 23rd and 24th. We look forward to showing you our community and meeting gardeners from around the state.
All Texas Garden Club members are invited to a “Garden Party” in the Grapevine Botanical Gardens.
Hotel
Guests are invited to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, just north of the DFW airport on Highway 114. The TGC blocked room rate is available until March 8th. Visit the Hilton website or call 817-421-1172 to make a reservation. www.dfwnorthgrapevine.hgi.com
Meeting Location
All convention meetings and scheduled events will be at the Grapevine Convention Center or Palace Arts Center, not the Hilton Garden Inn. A shuttle van will be available daily to pickup and return participants for the short ride between the Hilton Garden Inn, Convention Center and Palace Arts Center. There is ample parking at each location if you prefer to drive your own car.

Friday, March 23 Executive and Board of Directors meeting and luncheon.
Saturday, March 24 General Assembly meeting for all TGC club members.

Registration
The registration fee is required for attendance at any meeting or scheduled event. Participants should choose and pay for all individual meetings and events they plan to attend. Click to print the registration form and agenda.
Special Events
Friday, March 23 — After the morning meetings, take a break and join the “Garden Party” at the Grapevine Botanical Gardens. Then return to the Convention Center and enjoy a wine sampling and party to launch the Texas Garden Clubs Cookbook sales. Each District Director is promoting her district’s contribution to the cookbook with a themed table design. After dinner, the Flower Show Judges Council will celebrate festive occasions with a design program “All about Exhibition Tables”.
Saturday, March 24 — After the General Assembly meetings, ride the coach bus to Fort Worth where the Trustees will host a dedication and tea at the historic Texas Headquarters building at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. Meet the new TGC office staff members, Kathi and June. Return to the hotel and get ready for the 84th TGC Garden Clubs Award Banquet at the Palace Arts Center.
